Ewe Rock Farm is a small Vermont family farm specializing in Shetland sheep. Our animals are raised in a loving environment.
In summer our sheep feed on open pasture and in winter they are fed locally grown hay. They also get treats from our garden such as
pumpkins, apples, and turnips. Shetlands are one of the smaller sheep breeds making them easy to handle. They have naturally
short tails which don't require docking and they wag their tails when petted.
Shetlands are known for their luxurious fleeces which come in a range of colors and our flock produces fleeces that spin up into
beautiful yarn in various colors from white to black with wonderful shades of gray in-between.
